How does one get to know their self?
Do they look into the past?
Tallying the good parts and
subtracting faults?
Do they look into the future?
Adding fine intentions while
dividing by greed and revenge?
Or is it a minute by minute evaluation?
Doing what your heart says is right?
It is said we have three parts to our souls.
One is driven by Primitive Passion.
The second, Moral Reason, the extreme opposite,
Is muted by Free Will, a naughty imp,
Tempting us in all things.
